About
I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, as well as more than 8 years of experience as an technology educator. It’s hard to show you, electronically, my passion, forward thinking and drive. I am constantly reading, taking advantage of any professional development and thinking outside the box. I’ve constantly reach out to other schools and organizations for guidance, suggestions and best practices, which allows me to have a strong, creative network of support and guidance. Every day I push myself to creative!
Three of my greatest strengths is having patients, being organized and being able to multi-task. In the past, I designed a successful Middle and High School Technology Scope and Sequence, including curriculum for Web Design, Graphic Design and Business Technology courses. Furthermore, I have launched and maintain a quarterly newsletter, for each grade level, which showcases student work and achievements. I currently use many Web 2.0 tools, which include Google Docs and Alice 2.0. I always post my students projects and achievements. I have run Professional Development for staff thought my career. Recently, I have created and launched my own website using HTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
In my spare time I like to volunteer. I have volunteered at the Free Library of Philadelphia, WHYY, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Habitat for Humanity.
